Why not check out my new song below – just for a bit of fun but also with a serious undertone..
Inspired by It’s a Hard Knock Life from the broadway musical Annie, ghetto rap by Jay-Z by & the video by Z DoggMD It’s a Hard Doc’s Life (Hospitalist Anthem)!
It’s A Hard Knock Lyme for Us!
It’s a hard knock Lyme 4 us,
It’s a hard knock Lyme 4 us,
I can feel it eating me,
I can feel it killing me, It’s a hard knock Lyme
Do I rife it, do I drug it
Do I drink more herbal tea?
Do I add more pain killers
Are they any good for me?
Shall I take anti depressants
Or is that pointless too?
Am I looking for the answers
To which there is no clue?
Shall I go for combo therapy
Or will just mono do?
Do I have just one infection
Or is it quite a few?
It’s a hard knock Lyme 4 us,
It’s a hard knock Lyme 4 us,
I can feel it eating me,
I can feel it killing me, It’s a hard knock Lyme
So you started doctor training
And you felt ‘this is my calling’
Then you find a lyme patient
And you feel the need for crawling
To the door is where you’re heading
As these patients are too tricky
But is it really their fault
They got bitten by a ticky?!
So some words of advice
Take a few weeks antibiotics
Then if you are no better
Then you never really had it
It’s a hard knock Lyme 4 us,
It’s a hard knock Lyme 4 us,
I can feel it eating me,
I can feel it killing me, It’s a hard knock Lyme
The scientists & government don’t really want to treat you
These patients invented chronic Lyme that’s what they like to tell you
Hold on step back this isn’t right we must do more for patients
Lack of care & knowledge is beginning to test our patience.
We have a right to treatment & lot’s more studies too
If your loved one was infected isn’t that what you would do?
So bear a thougt for patients when you meet us in your office
We really need some guidance & that saviour might be you!
It’s a hard knock Lyme 4 us,
It’s a hard knock Lyme 4 us,
I can feel it eating me,
I can feel it killing me, It’s a hard knock Lyme
